Best film I’ve seen in quite some time. The scenes between Robert DeNiro and Bradley Cooper had me all verklempt. Also, I finally understand the attraction to Jennifer Lawrence. Win-win.

Finished watching the christmas special for the second time. Obviously borderline obsessed with Doctor Who so I could only find it amazing.
*Spoilers*
On the second viewing I realized who Oswin is- She becomes the Great Intelligence as she dies (which occurs at a critical moment when the GI is looking for a human host). Combined with the visualization tricks the Doctor teaches her early on she imagines herself not dying. This might tie back to the Doctor showing the Intelligence 1969 London transit maps and be the time and place the Doctor finds her in the upcoming season. To top it off, the GI mentions it has become a dream that has outlived the dreamer. All-in-all this makes Oswin a “living dream,” making her an “impossible girl” incapable of dying.

Watched a nine minute preview of Into Darkness last night. J.J. Abrams knows how to do outer space and spectacle like no other. More than all that though, I can’t wait to see Benedict Cumberbatch destroy everything.

Watched this in IMAX last night. Like watching a god being born. Couldn’t be more excited.
